I recently went to see a Broadway show ONCE and I really fell in love with it. The theater was a lot smaller and not as “fancy” as others, but I LOVED the music and the plot. I even downloaded one of their songs “Falling Slowly” which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 80th Academy Awards. This show is actually based off of the 2006 movie Once written by Enda Walsh. I hear the movie is just as good–I need to check it out.
I highly recommend this show if you are in NYC and not looking to watch something “touching” and not too expensive. To add on, you can purchase the tickets through TKTS for around $73.00! Now that’s a steal 🙂
