My husband and I went to Williamsburg a couple weeks ago and I totally fell in love. I’ve heard so many wondering things about but I was always too lazy to visit. To my shock, Williamsburg was only a short subway ride away from the city (only 8 minute train ride from Union Station) and its an up and blooming hip town in the city. It has a city atmosphere but it feels much homier and “cooler” as everyone seem very fashionable and young 😉 I highly recommend NYC tourists to visit Williamsburg!
Some must-go-to places in Williamsburg:
amazing food (we went to Mono Sushi Shack)
cafe’s (Black Brick is a great place for coffee and to get some work done!)
Thrift and antique stores (I love their thrift stores but their antique stores can be a bit pricey)
Smorgasburg (a Brooklyn flea market with amazing food and so much fun!)
And here’s some pictures with took at Smorgasburg 🙂
{entrance to Smorgasburg}
{Japanese food. Teriyaki Balls look so delicious!}
{supposedly healthier organic chocolate 🙂 }
{yumm… Porchetta looks so good}
{It was so nice to have the river and city view from here. On a side note, people here seemed so much happier and relaxed than in Manhattan.}
{How cool is the ramen burger? I’ve read so many reviews about the burger and had to try it out. It was definitely a good experience but I did miss my bun 😦 }
{delicious fries}
Have you guys ever been to Williamsburg? If so, what did you like or dislike about this area? I’d love to hear 🙂

J
