The Wallace Collection features over 5000 paintings from 15th to 18th century. This palace-like townhouse was built in 17th century by the Hertford family. The giant stairways at the entrance brings you back to the 18th century, with each room in bright colors and decorated with hundreds of paintings and antique furniture.
makes me wonder, did they have ballroom dances here? Wonder what kind of parties and dances they had in here.
did Hertford lady read in this room? I’d love a room like this 🙂
